Cannon Beach

One of the best places to go in in summer is the beach. The beach that I recommend is Cannon Beach a place that is the most fun if you have never been. There are lots of secrets and surprises to do see and explore.  So come with me and journey to the beach. You never know what you will find there. 

Cannon Beach is a small beach town. Adjoined from the beach you can see hay stack rock with birds swooping high up around the top and all around it on almost all sides the sea glimmering and shining. When the sun hits the sea at the right angle the waves look almost silvery green.  All around on the way to the ocean there is soft white sand. The town at Cannon Beach is small but there are lots of cute little shops and restaurants and my all time favorite Bruce's Candy Kitchen.   It is a medium size candy shop with all kinds of yummy things from jelly beans to home made carmel apples. They also make their own salt water taffy with all their  kinds of treats and snacks you definitely will  find something that will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Slappy Cakes

Would you eat a chocolate and bacon pancake? If the is yes, then Slappy Cakes is the place to go. Daylight You can make the pancakes at your table, and you can chose the kind of batter.  There is buttermilk whole grain/ gluten free, sweet potato and peanut butter batter. For toppings, you can have anything from chocolate chip bacon to strawberry whip cream And last but not least, you can chose sauces like lemon curd, maple syrup and strawberry syrup. 


You have the choice of sitting inside or outside.  I would sit outside if I were you.  The restaurant is dark but not pitch black and lit with lamps.  If I were you I would try out Slappy Cakes sometime.  Have fun!

Kids Rock Climb

From the high rock climbing caverns to the lit ceiling above , the Portland Rock Climbing Gym is the perfect  place for a daring adventurer  !!!!!  You are led into a large room where  you can watch other people scale the  high rock walls and if you are brave enough you can try scaling the high walls yourself. If you try the walls and if you don't get to the top that is OK.  Try again a different day.  I have gotten a little higher every time and still I have not got to the top.  I really recommend this place because it is not only not crowed, it is also a great place to go if you want to do something daring and still fun. So if I were you I would go there some time this summer.

The Old Spaghetti Factory

Are you looking for a place to take your family for a dinner everyone is sure to enjoy? 
Then the Old Spaghetti Factory comes to the rescue ! You have a choice  of a trolley,  a bed, or a booth to sit in. The food is amazing and their dessert is fabulous. This is a really good dinner place so if you ask me I would take your family there sometime. 

Wilson Pool

Trying to cool off this summer and don't know how to get away from the heat and still have fun? I recommend Wilson Pool, even if it is so crowed you can barely get to the water.  there  are  2 water slides a lazy river a deep pool and a diving bord .  Wilson Pool is the perfect place to cool off  this summer.

St. Honoré

Hey guys have you ever been to St. Honoré Bakery? If the answer is no then omg you really should go there. It is the best bakery in Portland Oregon.  I had a chocolate crosant there. It was buttery and flaky and verry chocolatee.  This is defently the best pastry shop in portland . Even if you don't live in Lake Oswego, there is one in Northwest Portland .. so it is a win win situation.

Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Zoe, and I like good food. I like eating it writing about it and most of all blogging about it. And that is not all. I also plan to write about fun things everyone can do in Portland, Oregon from your oldy grammas who say "What are we going to do today?" to young kids of every age.
